- He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.

Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who greatly delight in his commandments. - Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

or sit in the seat of scoffers. - For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, because a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant.
- No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper,
and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
and their vindication from me, says the Lord. - Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable. - So that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints.
- Shun youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
- And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
- Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.
- And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- But now, apart from law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
