Bible Verses about 'Faith is the substance'
- Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
- This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
- For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
- So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

- For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.

- Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith:
Christ was revealed in a human body
and vindicated by the Spirit.
He was seen by angels
and announced to the nations.
He was believed in throughout the world
and taken to heaven in glory. - For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory. - This is the day the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.
- Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
- Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.
