Chinese (traditional)- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
- For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
- The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
- Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.Next verse!With image
