- How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” - And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”

and the hungry soul he fills with good things. - But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

and favor is better than silver or gold. - Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground! - Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad. - To make an apt answer is a joy to a man,
and a word in season, how good it is! - Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
- So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
- And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
