- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
- Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
- For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
- Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- Can a woman forget her sucking child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
yea, they may forget,
yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;
thy walls are continually before me. - Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
