- For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
- I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers,
who hast given me wisdom and might,
and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
- Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
- Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
- For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
