- How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
How then could I look at a virgin? - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.
- Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.
- For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
- What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.
- We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
- For I give plenty of water to the weary ones, and refresh everyone who languishes.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- For you are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
- You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
- Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I am going to heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.”’
- So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
