- Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
“I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you.” - How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world. - We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. - This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.’

- Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child?
Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?

I will praise my God to my last breath! - If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.
- Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean! - But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
- I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.
