When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.
When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed.When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin.
When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it.When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened.
And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.
When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be liable for any other public duty. He shall be free at home one year to be happy with his wife whom he has taken.A newly married man must not be drafted into the army or be given any other official responsibilities. He must be free to spend one year at home, bringing happiness to the wife he has married.

The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us.

Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.”

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.
