- I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
- When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
- And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
- All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
- For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
- For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said,
‘For we too are his offspring.’ - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds —
his name is the Lord—
be exultant before him.
Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. To those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.Next verse!With image
