Chinese (traditional)- O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- For his anger is but for a moment;
his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may linger for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. - The Rock, his work is perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
- In my distress I called upon the Lord;
to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds —
his name is the Lord—
be exultant before him.
Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives;
those who open wide their lips come to ruin. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
- And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
- Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. - He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from destruction. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - Happy are those who keep his decrees,
who seek him with their whole heart. - The Lord your God you shall follow, him alone you shall fear, his commandments you shall keep, his voice you shall obey, him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. - The Lord is slow to anger but great in power,
and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with victory. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.Next verse!With image
