- He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. - He sent his word, and healed them,

his way have I kept, and not declined. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
- Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
