Bible Verses about 'Human'

For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.Because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Has he promised, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.Indeed, we live as human beings, but we do not wage war according to human standards.
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass.I, I am he who comforts you; why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die, a human being who fades like grass?
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him. But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.Am I now seeking human approval, or God's approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.Anxiety weighs down the human heart, but a good word cheers it up.
As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.Just as water reflects the face, so one human heart reflects another.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God.
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”“Ananias,” Peter asked, “why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You did not lie to us but to God!”
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being.
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
