- A husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise a wife should fulfill her conjugal obligations to her husband. For a wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise, a husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- However, each one of you should love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife should respect her husband.

The man said,
“This one is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh.
She shall be called woman
because she was taken from man.”
This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh. - It is the will of God that you should lead a life of sanctity. You must refrain from sexual immorality. Each of you must learn to acquire a wife from pure and honorable motives, not to gratify passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.
- Likewise, you who are husbands must show consideration for your wives in your life together. Treat your wife with respect, for even though she is the weaker partner, she is also an equal heir of God’s gift of life. Thus, your prayers will not be hindered in any way.

is wealth, honor, and life. - When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.

and turn back to the Lord, your God.
For he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, rich in kindness,
and always prepared to relent from punishing. - And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
- Put your trust in the Lord and do good,
that you may dwell in the land and be secure. - A thief comes only
to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
that they may have life,
and have it in abundance. - Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer.
