I love you lord (3/4)

  • You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
  • By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
  • Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
  • It is you who light my lamp;
    the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
  • Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
    Lord, hear my voice!
    Let your ears be attentive
    to the voice of my supplications!
  • For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.
  • Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love,
    for they have been from of old.
    Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
    according to your steadfast love remember me,
    for your goodness' sake, O Lord!
  • Hatred stirs up strife,
    but love covers all offenses.
  • For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
  • He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
    and what does the Lord require of you
    but to do justice, and to love kindness,
    and to walk humbly with your God?
  • The Lord is merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
  • But you, O Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
  • The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
  • Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
  • In you, O Lord, I seek refuge;
    do not let me ever be put to shame;
    in your righteousness deliver me.
  • Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
  • But you, O Lord, reign forever;
    your throne endures to all generations.
  • O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    for his steadfast love endures forever.
  • He loves righteousness and justice;
    the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
  • Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
  • The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
    a warrior who gives victory;
    he will rejoice over you with gladness,
    he will renew you in his love;
    he will exult over you with loud singing.
  • Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
  • So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.
  • Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
  • Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
    for in you I put my trust.
    Teach me the way I should go,
    for to you I lift up my soul.

Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love.

I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
