Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and they cannot speak;
they have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
for they cannot do evil,
nor is it in them to do good. - Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”
- Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in agreement and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same purpose.
- Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart;
who do not slander with their tongue,
and do no evil to their friends,
nor take up a reproach against their neighbors. - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.

- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

- Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

- When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.”
- I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.
