I (2/4)

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?I have made a covenant with my eyes not to look with desire upon a virgin.
Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.Whom do I have in heaven except you? And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth.
He must increase, but I must decrease. He must increase; I must decrease.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; you are the one whom I praise.
I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.I keep the Lord always before me, for with him at my right hand I will never fall.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.I will offer praise to you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all your wondrous deeds.
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.At dawn let me experience your kindness, for in you I place my trust. Show me the path I must walk, for to you I lift up my soul.
I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom and led you along the paths of righteousness.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord; I will sing your praises among the nations.
For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish. For I will provide the weary with all they need, and I will restore the strength of all those who have grown faint with hunger.
Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.”
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. For this reason, I rejoice when I endure weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and distress for the sake of Christ. For it is when I am weak that I am strong.
For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.I shall forgive them for their wicked deeds, and I shall remember their sins no more.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
Return, faithless Israel, declares the Lord. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the Lord; I will not be angry forever.Return, rebel Israel, says the Lord. I will not look upon you in anger. For I am merciful, says the Lord; my wrath will not continue forever.
Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.I love the Lord because he has heard my voice and listened to my cry for mercy, because he has inclined his ear to me on the day when I called out to him.
I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.I will extol you, my God and King; I will bless your name forever and ever.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.Amen, amen, I say to you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do, and indeed will do even greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.
