Chinese (traditional)- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. - Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
- The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
- Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
