Chinese (traditional)- Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
