And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self that is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.
Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you.
Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.A word is not even on my tongue and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. For you know that the testing of your faith will develop perseverance.
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity.
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. You will show me the path to life; you will fill me with joy in your presence and everlasting delights at your right hand.

However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. Everyone who has this hope in him keeps himself pure, just as he is pure.
