Chinese (traditional)- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith. - I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Let us therefore no longer pass judgment on one another, but resolve instead never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of another.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.
- Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be fulfilled, says the Lord God.
- Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward.
- They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.
- Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation.
- Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- Lead me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day long. - For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
- For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
- Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good repute
in the sight of God and of people. - Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- So, if they say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
- Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
- My child, do not despise the Lord's discipline
or be weary of his reproof,
for the Lord reproves the one he loves,
as a father the son in whom he delights. - For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his faithful ones.
The righteous shall be kept safe forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his clothing.
- Is not this the fast that I choose:
to loose the bonds of injustice,
to undo the thongs of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to break every yoke? - Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has long ago approved what you do.
- Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Having said this, he breathed his last.
So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.Next verse!With image
