- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
- Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
- Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
- Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth. - Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart. - Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.
- And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
- Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. - Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
