- Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
- But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
- So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
- Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
- Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke? - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass. - But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
- Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
- If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
- Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber. - This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. - Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
- “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” - Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
- Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established. - Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
