but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands. - “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
- Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’
- The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all. - Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,

to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners. - For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.

and protects the way of his faithful ones. - Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

and his understanding no one can fathom.
