- And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
- He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
- But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
- Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;

The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. - Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday. - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance,
Because You favored them. - For so the Lord has commanded us:

- No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
- Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
- Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
For riches certainly make themselves wings;
They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. - The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
- Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
- And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches and honor and life. - Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
- Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
- I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
- But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
