Chinese (traditional)- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
- Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established.
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.Next verse! With image
