- Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

“Praise the Lord, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.” - For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
- That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
- Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
- In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me? - Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
- So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God. - But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames are flames of fire,
A most vehement flame. - But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
