Chinese (traditional)- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head. - When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. - For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places. - I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah - If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - My lips will shout for joy,
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have redeemed. - Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.”
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.Next verse!With image
