Name of Jesus (4/4)

  • Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
    without being born from above.”
  • Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
  • But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
  • As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Jesus answered them,
    “My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
  • This is how you should pray:
    ‘Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.’
  • Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
  • Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
  • O Lord, you are my God.
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for you have accomplished wonderful things,
formulated in ages past, faithful and sure.
  • Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
  • I intend to prove the holiness of my great name which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. Thus, the nations will know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I will display my holiness in their sight.
  • But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
  • Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
  • On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
    “If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.”
  • But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
  • I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
  • It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • May the God of peace—who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant— make you perfect in every respect so that you may do his will. And may he enable us to achieve what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
  • And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”
  • They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
  • Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen.
