- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. - Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
- Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil. - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Lord, all my desire is before thee;
