- Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord, your God, is going forth with you. He will never leave you or abandon you.

You place your trust in God.

I will strengthen you and give you help,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - Can someone hide in a secret place
so that I cannot see him?
Do I not fill heaven and earth? - Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- Do not swerve either to the right or to the left;
keep your foot far from evil. - In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.
- Dispose my heart to follow your statutes
and to flee selfish gain.
