- “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon. - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

And your thoughts will be established. - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Your comforts delight my soul. - O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off. - And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. - Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- But now, O Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand. - To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
For the glory of Your name;
And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,
For Your name’s sake! - But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. - But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! Selah - Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted. - God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Let us search out and examine our ways,
And turn back to the Lord. - He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
Into the depths of the sea. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
- The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. - Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
- Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. - It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy,
And afterward to reconsider his vows. - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
