Bible Verses about 'Our thoughts'
- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. - As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,

deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake. - He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

he does whatever pleases him. - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
- Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. - God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand. - But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed. - Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom. - To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

the Maker of heaven and earth. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord. - You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. - Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
- The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever. - Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - And the people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord our God and obey him.”
- And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.
- Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
- This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.
- It is a trap to dedicate something rashly
and only later to consider one’s vows. - He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
- You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you. - But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.Next verse!With image
