- Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. - The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
- This is how we know what love is:
he laid down his life for us,
and we in turn must be prepared
to lay down our lives for our brethren. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God. - The grass may wither and the flower may fade,
but the word of our God will endure forever. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.
- But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
- There is no holy one like the Lord,
there is none beside you,
nor is there a rock like our God. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- This is what love is:
not that we have loved God,
but that he loved us
and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. - Prepare in advance what you want to say,
and return to the Lord.
Say to him, “Take away all guilt
and give us what is good,
so that we may present as offerings
the bullocks from our stalls.” - As we proceed in the path of your judgments,
we wait for you, O Lord;
your name and your renown
are all that our heart desires. - For everyone born of God
conquers the world.
And the victory that conquers the world
is our faith. - For ‘In him we live and move and have our being.’ As even your own poets have said, ‘We are all his offspring.’
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercy and the God of all consolation. He consoles us in all our afflictions and thereby enables us to console others in their tribulations, offering them the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.
- Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
- In Christ
and through his blood
we have redemption
and the forgiveness of our sins.
In accord with the riches of his grace. - Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.”
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. After you have suffered for a brief period, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and support you.Next verse! With image
