No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.
Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!
In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
