PSALM (4/4)

I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
But You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
For Your goodness is great to the heavens And Your truth to the clouds. For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, like a weary land. SelahI stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
I will rejoice and be jubilant in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Whom do I have in heaven but You? And with You, I desire nothing on earth.Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart.Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
My salvation and my glory rest on God; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. SelahBlessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and put me in an open space.I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
Lord God of armies, restore us; Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who live in it.The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
