For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom.
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.”
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.While Peter was thus imprisoned, the Church prayed fervently to God for him.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it.

I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.To you, O God of my fathers, I offer thanks and praise because you have given me wisdom and power. Now you have made known to me what we asked of you; you have revealed to us the king’s dream.
Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.Yours, O Lord, are greatness, power, glory, strength, and majesty, for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.To him who in all things is able through the power that is at work within us to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.Then, after completing their fasting and prayer, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.

For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
