- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.
- No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. - Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. - The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
- He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
- Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
