- For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.
- Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world.
- If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you. - Be strong and courageous in your hearts,
all you who place your hope in the Lord. - This must not be so with you. Instead, whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your servant.
- Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- Place your hope in the Lord:
be strong and courageous in your heart,
and place your hope in the Lord. - And now, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways. Encourage one another. Be of one mind and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
- But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
- I am the gate.
Anyone who enters through me
will be saved.
He will go in and out
and will find pasture. - Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops.
- They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
- Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may show yourselves blameless and beyond reproach, children of God without spot in the midst of an evil and depraved generation, among which you shine like lights in the world as you hold fast tenaciously to the word of life.
- Why are you so disheartened, O my soul?
Why do you sigh within me?
Place your hope in God;
for I will once again praise him,
my Savior and my God. - Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To the one seated on the throne
and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever.” - Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
save me, and I will be saved;
you are the one whom I praise. - Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You place your trust in God.
Trust also in me. - Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited.
- This is how we can be certain
that we abide in him
and that he abides in us:
he has given us a share in his Spirit. - Just as in Adam all die, so all will be brought to life in Christ.
- God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
- I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
