- Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.

that is above all other names,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - Brethren, I exhort you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to be in full agreement with one another and not permit any divisions to arise among you. Be perfectly united in mind and purpose.
- I have told you this
so that in me you may be in peace.
In the world
you will endure suffering.
But take courage!
I have overcome the world. - He will never be swayed;
the righteous man will be remembered forever. - Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
- Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
- In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not treat them harshly.
- Even should my heart and my flesh fail,
God is the rock of my heart
and my portion forever. - But God is rich in his mercy, and because he had such great love for us, he brought us to life with Christ when we were already dead through sin—it is by grace that you have been saved.
- I will rejoice and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Authority will be granted to the diligent,
but the lazy will be enslaved. - Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways.
- If anyone is rich in worldly possessions
and sees a brother in need
but refuses to open his heart,
how can the love of God abide in him? - For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.
- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall also be united with him in his resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- Preach the message; be persistent in doing so, whether in season or out of season; convince, reprove, and encourage, but with great patience and instruction.
- Ensure that the path you tread is level,
and then your ways will be sure.
