Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Protection'
- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. Selah - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.
- No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper,
and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord
and their vindication from me, says the Lord. - So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand has supported me;
your help has made me great.
You gave me a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.
- With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in your word. - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - But I will sing of your might;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been a fortress for me
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. - What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - But you, O Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - I keep the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous run into it and are safe.With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word.Next verse!With image
