| For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. | For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. | He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. | Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. |

A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. |
