- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah - This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
- All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
which means, “God is with us.” - For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

- O Lord, all my longing is known to you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - This God—his way is perfect;

- The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
the mind of the wicked is of little worth. - Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
- The Rock, his work is perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
