- And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is.
Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.Next verse!With image
