Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Soul'
- And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
- I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.Next verse!With image
