- Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

- And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
- When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
- According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
- And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
- I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.Next verse!With image
