Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?” When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

And he also gave some to his companions.” Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
- On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”

your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act.
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
