- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - I am sought of them that asked not for me;
I am found of them that sought me not:
I said, Behold me, behold me,
unto a nation that was not called by my name. - For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
- Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
