- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.
- Gentle words are a tree of life;
a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. - Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
- Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
- Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.
- Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
- Keep the Sabbath day holy.
Don’t pursue your own interests on that day,
but enjoy the Sabbath
and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day.
Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day,
and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly.
Then the Lord will be your delight.
I will give you great honor
and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob.
I, the Lord, have spoken! - This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.
- The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.
- The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
- No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.
- So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
- Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me. - Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
- The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.
You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. - For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
- Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!
- Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.
