- As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.

- Those who guard their lips preserve their lives,
but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. - To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
- Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
- Where there is strife, there is pride,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice. - Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
- Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
- Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
- My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to blot out their name from the earth. - Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
- Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. - Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
- The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in people who are trustworthy. - Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
