Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Watch'
- Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
- A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night. - Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. - Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
- Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
- Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. - I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
- But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.
- Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
- In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. - Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
- Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
- Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
- The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
- For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. - Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
- Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
- As goods increase,
so do those who consume them.
And what benefit are they to the owners
except to feast their eyes on them? - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.Next verse!With image
